That's why we promote projects that encompass Digital animation, video games, augmented and virtual reality, audiovisual production and specialized training. Our goal is for Guatemala to be recognized as a creative and technological leader in the region.

Pro-Art and Technology Foundation Born from a deep desire to pave the way for a new creative era in Guatemala, inspired by the ancestral legacy of the Maya—artists, storytellers, scientists, and visionaries—whose innovative spirit still lives in the heart of the country. After years of witnessing how national creative talent lacked opportunities to grow in industries such as animation, video games, augmented reality, and audiovisual production, this movement emerged with a clear mission:

To support Guatemalan projects and companies that build a solid creative industry, capable of generating employment, identity and national pride.

Why a Jaguar?

In Guatemala, the jaguar has been a symbol of wisdom, strength, and respect for the sacred.

Today that spirit resurfaces transformed: half real, half digital.

In the Mayan worldview, the jaguar was one of the most sacred beings. It represented power, protection, and spiritual connection. It was the guardian of the night and the symbol of those who had the courage to explore the unknown. The Maya associated it with royalty, leadership, and transformation, believing that great spiritual guides could take the form of a jaguar to cross between the physical world and the world of dreams.

We chose the jaguar as our symbol because it embodies exactly what we seek to awaken in Guatemala: creative force, ancestral identity, the courage to innovate, and the ability to transform talent into a new future.
